Benson was born and raised in Chesterfield, Virginia. He has a Master’s of Science, specializing in Physical Therapy, from Virginia Commonwealth University, and was licensed in 1994. A background of working in a variety of settings, treating patients from nine to ninety-nine, prepared him for opening Amelia Physical Therapy in April, 2001. Benson specializes in spinal manipulation.
Benson has made a commitment to providing the people of Amelia County with the best physical therapy services available anywhere. 
Benson is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Jennifer Booker Gibbons, PT, DPT Jennifer Booker Gibbons, PT, DPT
Jenni is from Chesterfield, VA, and graduated from Medical College of Virginia (MCV/VCU) with a doctorate in physical therapy. She received her bachelors of science from Virginia Tech in human nutrition, food, and exercise. Jenni did an eight week clinical with Amelia PT and liked the Amelia residents so much she came back. In her free time Jenni enjoys soccer, running and spending time with her husband and dog. When asked what she likes most about working at Amelia PT she said " I like helping people get back on their feet and doing what they love to do!"

Paula is ready to greet you when you arrive at Amelia Physical Therapy. She can answer any questions you may have about your insurance, therapy sessions and help you set up an appointment.
Anna Morrison, PTA Anna Morrison, PTA
Anna graduated from John Tyler Community College with a physical therapist assistant degree. She assists all patients with their therapy. Amelia Physical Therapy has all types of state-of- the-art equipment to fit the therapy needs of every individual.
Michelle Parsons, PT Tech Michelle Gholson-Parsons, PT Technician
Michelle a PT tech at Amelia Physical Therapy (APT) and is a native of Amelia County. She has been with APT since 2004 and enjoys her job assisting patients. In her free time she enjoys being with her son and playing local recreational softball.
